[Machine] Allah divides it and I am the first among the family of the Prophet ﷺ, then the noblest of them. He prescribed for the wives of the Prophet ﷺ except Juwairiyah, Safiyah, and Maymunah. Aisha said, "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to be fair between us, so he was fair between them and Umar. Then he said, 'Indeed, I am the first among me and my companions, the first emigrants. We were expelled from our homes unjustly and aggressively, then the noblest of them. He prescribed for the companions of Badr five thousand from among them and four thousand for those who witnessed Badr from the Ansar, and prescribed for those who witnessed Hudaybiyyah three thousand. He said, 'Whoever hastens in migration, his gift is hastened, and whoever delays in migration, his gift is delayed. So, no man is to blame except he who lags behind his camel.'"

[Machine] Rather, Allah divides it, and I will start with the family of the Prophet, ﷺ , then I will honor them. He (the Prophet) imposed upon the wives of the Prophet ten thousand (dirhams) except Juwayriyah, Safiyah, and Maimunah. Aisha said, "The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , used to treat us equally but he treated Umar equally with us." Then he said, "I will start with my Muhajirin companions, for we were expelled from our homeland unjustly and aggressively, then I will honor them. He then imposed upon the companions of Badr among them five thousand (dirhams), and for those who participated in Uhud, three thousand (dirhams). He said, 'Whoever migrates first will be the first to receive, and whoever lags behind in migration, his reward will lag behind him. No one should blame a man except for his departing caravan. And I apologize to you for Khalid bin Al-Waleed, for I ordered him to keep this wealth for the weak among the Muhajireen, but he gave it to the strong, the honorable, and the eloquent. So, I took it from him and ordered Abu Ubaidah bin al-Jarrah. Abu Amr bin Hafs bin al-Mughirah said, 'By Allah, O Umar bin al-Khattab, you do not deserve an excuse. You have taken away from a worker whom the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , employed. You sheathed a sword which the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , granted as a gift. And you have raised a banner which the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , placed. And indeed, you have severed ties of kinship and envied your cousin.' Umar bin al-Khattab said, 'You are close to me in kinship, but your words are an ire from your teeth, O cousin of yours.'"

"عَنْ نَاشِرةَ [بن] سَمِىّ الْيَزْنِى قَالَ: سَمعْتُ عُمَرَ بنَ الْخَطَّابِ يَقُولُ يَوْمَ الْجَابِيَّة وَهُو يَخْطُبُ النَّاسَ: إِنَّ اللَّه جَعَلَنِى خَازِنًا لِهَذَا الْمَالِ، وَقَاسِمًا لَهُ ثُمَّ قال: بَل اللَّه يَقْسِمُهُ، وَأَنَا بادئٌ وبِأَهْلِ النَّبىِّ ﷺ ، ثُمَّ أَشْرَفِهِمْ، فَفَرضَ لأَزْوَاجِ النَّبِىِّ ﷺ إلّا جُوَيرةَ، وَصَفيَّة، وَمَيْمُونَةَ، قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّه ﷺ ، كَانَ يَعْدِلُ بَيْنَنَا، فَعَدَلَ بَيْنَهُنَّ عُمَرُ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: إِنِّى بَادِئُ (ربى) وَبِأَصْحَابِى الْمُهاجِرِينَ الأَوَّلِينَ، فَإنَّا أُخْرِجْنَا مِنْ دِيَارِنَا ظُلْمًا وَعُدْوَانًا، ثُمَّ أَشْرفَهُمْ، فَفَرضَ لأَصْحَابِ بَدْرٍ مِنهُمْ خَمْسَةَ آلَافٍ، وَلِمنْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ أَرْبعَةَ آلَافٍ، وَفَرضَ لِمَنْ شَهِدَ الْحُدَيبيَةَ ثَلَاثَةَ آلَافٍ، وَقَالَ: مَنْ أَسْرَعَ فِى الْهجْرَةِ أَسْرَعَ بِهِ الْعَطَاءُ، ومَنْ أَبْطَأَ فِى الْهِجْرَةِ أَبْطَأَ بِهِ الْعَطَاءُ، فَلَا يلْومَنَّ رَجُلٌ إِلَّا مُنَاخ رَاحِلَته".
