[Machine] Sa'd came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, indeed, Umm Sa'd used to love giving charity and freeing slaves. Will she receive a reward if I give charity or free slaves on her behalf?" He said, "Yes."  

البيهقي:١٢٦٣٩أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ بِبَغْدَادَ أنا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الرَّزَّازُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُنَادِي ثنا إِسْحَاقُ الْأَزْرَقُ ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ

أَنَّ سَعْدًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ أُمَّ سَعْدٍ كَانَتْ تُحِبُّ الصَّدَقَةَ وَتُحِبُّ الْعَتَاقَةَ فَهَلْ لَهَا أَجْرٌ إِنْ تَصَدَّقْتُ عَنْهَا أَوْ أَعْتَقْتُ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ
