bayhaqi:12101Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh al-Ḥāfiẓ > ʿAlī b. Ḥamshādh > Yazīd b. al-Haytham > Ibrāhīm b. Abū al-Layth > al-Ashjaʿī > Sufyān > Ṭalḥah b. Yaḥyá al-Qurashī > ʿAbdullāh b. Farrūkh a freed slave of Ṭalḥah > Um Salamah Suʾilat > al-Tiqāṭ al-Sawṭ

[Machine] He picks up his brother's whip and reaches with his hands what I see as a hardship. He asked, "What about the rope?" She said, "And the rope." He asked, "And the shoe?" She said, "And the shoe." He asked, "And the container?" She said, "I do not permit what Allah has forbidden. The container is where expenses and belongings are kept." And 12101. And according to Sufyan, from Ar-Rabi' bin Subayh, from Al-Hasan, that he permitted the use of a whip, stick, and walking for enjoyment.  

البيهقي:١٢١٠١وَأَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذٍ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي اللَّيْثِ ثنا الْأَشْجَعِيُّ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ يَحْيَى الْقُرَشِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ فَرُّوخَ مَوْلَى طَلْحَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ سُئِلَتْ عَنِ الْتِقَاطِ السَّوْطِ فَقَالَتْ

يَلْتَقِطُ سَوْطَ أَخِيهِ يَصِلُ بِهِ يَدَيْهِ مَا أَرَى بَأْسًا قَالَ وَالْحَبْلُ؟ قَالَتْ وَالْحَبْلُ قَالَ وَالْحِذَاءُ؟ قَالَتْ وَالْحِذَاءُ قَالَ وَالْوِعَاءُ؟ قَالَتْ لَا أُحِلُّ مَا حَرَّمَ اللهُ الْوِعَاءُ يَكُونُ فِيهِ النَّفَقَةُ وَيَكُونُ فِيهِ الْمَتَاعُ 12101 وَعَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ صُبَيْحٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ أَنَّهُ رَخَّصَ فِي السَّوْطِ وَالْعَصَا وَالسَّيْرِ يَجِدُهُ يَسْتَمْتِعُ بِهِ
