[Machine] He used to say that every soul is accountable for itself, and it is not necessary to perform ablution from it. However, permission was granted for scorpions, fleas, locusts, and woodlice when they fall into containers of water, so there is no harm in using it. Shu'bah said, "I think he mentioned lizards as well." The Sheikh said, "And it was narrated to us that it also includes the wazaghah (a type of lizard) according to Al-Hasan al-Basri, Ata' and 'Ikrimah."

أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ سَائِلَةٌ لَا يُتَوَضَّأُ مِنْهَا وَلَكِنْ رُخِّصَ فِي الْخُنْفُسَاءِ وَالْعَقْرَبِ وَالْجَرَادِ وَالْجَدْجَدِ إِذَا وَقَعْنَ فِي الرِّكَاءِ فَلَا بَأْسَ بِهِ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ أَظُنُّهُ قَدْ ذَكَرَ الْوَزَغَةَ قَالَ الشَّيْخُ وَرُوِّينَا مَعْنَاهُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ الْبَصْرِيِّ وَعَطَاءٍ وَعِكْرِمَةَ
