[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: "The abundance of water should not be withheld in order to prevent dirt." In another narration by Al-Layth, he said: "Ibn Al-Musayyib and Abu Salamah narrated to me that Abu Hurairah said: The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: 'Do not withhold the abundance of water in order to prevent dirt.'"  

البيهقي:١١٨٤٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ شَرِيكٍ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ ثنا يُونُسُ ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو نَصْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْفَقِيهُ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ثنا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ وَأَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يُمْنَعُ فَضْلُ الْمَاءِ لِيُمْنَعَ بِهِ الْكَلَأُ وَفِي رِوَايَةِ اللَّيْثِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ وَأَبُو سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تَمْنَعُوا فَضْلَ الْمَاءِ لِتَمْنَعُوا بِهِ الْكَلَأَ
