[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no contagious disease except for Allah and His Messenger ﷺ ." And it has reached us that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prevented the spread of plague. And it has also reached us that Umar ibn Al-Khattab prevented the spread of leprosy. This is the wording of the hadith of Ubaid.  

البيهقي:١١٨٠٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا ابْنُ مِلْحَانَ وَعُبَيْدُ بْنُ شَرِيكٍ قَالَا ثنا يَحْيَى ثنا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ الصَّعْبِ بْنِ جَثَّامَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا حِمَى إِلَّا لِلَّهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ قَالَ وَبَلَغَنَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ حَمَى النَّقِيعَ وَأَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ حَمَى الشَّرَفَ وَالرَّبَذَةَ لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ عُبَيْدٍ  

رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ هَكَذَا

إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ حِمَى إِلاَّ لِلَّهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ وَقَالَ بَلَغَنَا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ حَمَى النَّقِيعَ وَأَنَّ عُمَرَ حَمَى السَّرَفَ وَالرَّبَذَةَ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no contagious disease except with the permission of Allah and His Messenger." It has been reported to us that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had protected against plague, and Umar had protected against smallpox and scrofula.
