[Machine] Ali, the son of Abu Talib, used to dislike quarrels. So, whenever he had a dispute, he would delegate it to Aqil, the son of Abu Talib. But when Aqil grew up, he delegated it to me.  

البيهقي:١١٤٣٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بَالَوَيْهِ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ إِسْحَاقَ يَقُولُ حَدَثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ جَهْمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَهْمِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ

كَانَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ؓ يَكْرَهُ الْخُصُومَةَ فَكَانَ إِذَا كَانَتْ لَهُ خُصُومَةٌ وَكَّلَ فِيهَا عَقِيلَ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ فَلَمَّا كَبِرَ عَقِيلٌ وَكَّلَنِي
