[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited the practices of al-Muhaqalah, al-Muzabanah, and al-Mukhabarah, and the sale of fruits until their goodness becomes apparent, and they are not sold except for dinars or dirhams, except for 'araya.  

البيهقي:١٠٦٥٣أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدُوسٍ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْمُحَاقَلَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُخَابَرَةِ وَعَنْ بَيْعِ الثَّمَرِ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ صَلَاحُهُ وَلَا يُبَاعُ إِلَّا بِالدِّينَارِ أَوِ الدِّرْهَمِ إِلَّا الْعَرَايَا  

رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَرَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ

The Prophet ﷺ forbade the sales called Al-Mukhabara, Al-Muhaqala and Al-Muzabana and the selling of fruits till they are free from blights. He forbade the selling of the fruits except for money, except the 'Araya.

Jabir b. Abdullah (Allah be pleased with them) reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ had forbidden Muhaqala. and Muzabana, Mukhibara and the sale of fruits until their good condition becomes clear, and (he commanded) that (commodities) should not be sold but for the dinar and dirham except in case of araya.  

مسلم:١٥٣٦cحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ قَالُوا جَمِيعًا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ

nasai:4523Muḥammad b. Manṣūr > Sufyān > Ibn Jurayj > ʿAṭāʾ > Jābir b. ʿAbdullāh

"I heard Jabir bin 'Abdullah (narrate) from the Prophet that he forbade Mukhabarah, Muzabanah and Muhaqalah, an (he forbade) selling fruits until their condition is known, an that they should only sold for Dinars and Dirhams, but he granted a concession regarding the sale of Araya:

رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ هَاشِمٍ عَنْ بَهْزِ بْنِ أَسَدٍ
