[Machine] He said on the pulpit, "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'The prayer is not invalidated except by impurity (i.e., hadath).' And I do not feel ashamed of what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not feel ashamed of.' And impurity is passing gas or urine, which Hubban bin Ali Al-Anzi specified."  

البيهقي:١٠٥٣ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ عَبْدَانَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ثنا حِبَّانُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ أَبِي سِنَانَ ضِرَارِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ

أَنَّهُ قَالَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يَقْطَعُ الصَّلَاةَ إِلَّا الْحَدَثُ وَلَا أَسْتَحْيِيكُمْ مِمَّا لَمْ يَسْتَحِ مِنْهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَالْحَدَثُ أَنْ تَفْسُوَ أَوْ تَضْرِطَ تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ حِبَّانُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْعَنَزِيُّ

He said: ʿBreaking wudoo’ means breaking wind silently or loudly.ʿ

"عَنْ (عَلِىٍّ) عَنْ النَّبِىِّ ﷺ قَالَ: إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ الرَّجُلُ فَهُوَ في صَلَاةٍ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ، وَقَالَ عَلِىُّ: وَلَنْ أَسْتَحْييكُمْ مِمَّا لَمْ يَسْتَحِى مِنْهُ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ الْحَدَثُ أَنْ تَفْسُوَ أَوْ تَضرِطَ".
