[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say that exchanging like for like is not usury, except in the case of paper for paper, gold for gold, wheat for wheat, and barley for barley. This is mentioned in this narration: "Exchanging like for like" and the narration of the group in the raised hadith, as mentioned before.  

البيهقي:١٠٥١٠أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا أَبُو عُتْبَةَ ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَوْسِ بْنِ الْحَدَثَانِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ أَرَدْتُ صَرْفًا فَقَالَ لِي طَلْحَةُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ أَنَا أَصْرِفُكَ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ خَازِنِي مِنَ الْغَابَةِ قَالَ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ
