[Machine] A man in a state of Ihram accidentally stepped on his camel's saddle, so he went to Ali and asked him about it. Ali told the man that for every egg of a camel or the fetus of a camel, he must fast for one day or feed a poor person. The man then went to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and informed him about what Ali had said. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ replied, "Ali spoke the truth, but come to a concession. For every egg, fast for one day or feed a poor person." Abu Abdullah Al-Hafith and Abu Saeed ibn Abi Omar informed us that Abu Al-Abbas told us that Yahya ibn Abi Talib told him that Abd Al-Wahhab said, "Sa'id was asked about the eggs of ostriches that are affected by the state of ihram, and he told us through his narration about rain. This is what is preserved." It was also narrated from another source.  

أَنَّ رَجُلًا مُحْرِمًا أَوْطَأَ رَاحِلَتَهُ أُدْحِيَّ نَعَامٍ فَانْطَلَقَ الرَّجُلُ إِلَى عَلِيٍّ ؓ فَسَأَلَهُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ عَلَيْكَ فِي كُلِّ بَيْضَةٍ ضِرَابُ نَاقَةٍ أَوْ جَنِينُ نَاقَةٍ فَانْطَلَقَ الرَّجُلُ إِلَى نَبِيِّ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَخْبَرَهُ مَا قَالَ عَلِيٌ فَقَالَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ قَدْ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ مَا تَسْمَعُ وَلَكِنْ هَلُمَّ إِلَى الرُّخْصَةِ عَلَيْكَ فِي كُلِّ بَيْضَةٍ صِيَامُ يَوْمٍ أَوْ إِطْعَامُ مِسْكِينٍ 10020 وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ أنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ قَالَ سُئِلَ سَعِيدٌ عَنْ بَيْضِ النَّعَامِ يُصِيبُهُ الْمُحْرِمُ فَأَخْبَرَنَا عَنْ مَطَرٍ فَذَكَرَهُ بِمَعْنَاهُ هَذَا هُوَ الْمَحْفُوظُ وَقِيلَ فِيهِ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ عَلِيٍّ وَرُوِيَ مِنْ وَجْهٍ آخَرَ
