Perfection of faith is not attained unless one abandons lies and argumentation

the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A servant does not entirely have faith until he abandons lying even while joking, and abandons arguing even if he is correct."  

أحمد:٨٦٣٠حَدَّثَنَا حُجَيْن بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى أَبُو عُمَرَ؛ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ؛ عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ أُذَيْنٍ؛ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ؛ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يُؤْمِنُ الْعَبْدُ الْإِيمَانَ كُلَّهُ حَتَّى يَتْرُكَ الْكَذِبَ فِي الْمُزَاحَةِ وَيَتْرُكَ الْمِرَاءَ وَإِنْ كَانَ صَادِقًا۔»
