[Machine] From Abu Hurayrah, it is narrated: "Hurry with your funerals, for if it is righteous, you have delivered it (to its destination). And if it is otherwise, you have relieved yourselves of its burden. The Prophet ﷺ also said another time: 'Hasten with the funeral, for if it is righteous, you bring it forward (to its destination).  

أحمد:٧٢٦٧ – حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رِوَايَةً أَسْرِعُوا بِجَنَائِزِكُمْ فَإِنْ كَانَ صَالِحًا قَدَّمْتُمُوهُ إِلَيْهِ وَإِنْ كَانَ سِوَى ذَلِكَ فَشَرٌّ تَضَعُونَهُ عَنْ رِقَابِكُمْ وَقَالَ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَسْرِعُوا بِالْجِنَازَةِ فَإِنْ تَكُ صَالِحَةً خَيْرٌ تُقَدِّمُوهَا إِلَيْهِ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Hurry up with the dead body for if it was righteous, you are forwarding it to welfare; and if it was otherwise, then you are putting off an evil thing down your necks."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ أَسْرِعُوا بِالْجِنَازَةِ فَإِنْ تَكُ صَالِحَةً فَخَيْرٌ تُقَدِّمُونَهَا {إِلَيْهِ} وَإِنْ يَكُ سِوَى ذَلِكَ فَشَرٌّ تَضَعُونَهُ عَنْ رِقَابِكُمْ  

ibnmajah:1477 – Abū Bakr b. Abū Shaybah And Hishām b. ʿAmmār > Sufyān b. ʿUyaynah > al-Zuhrī > Saʿīd b. al-Musayyab > Abū Hurayrah

‘Hasten with the funeral (procession), for if the person was righteous then you are advancing him towards good, and if he was otherwise then it is evil which you are taking off of your necks.”  

ابن ماجة:١٤٧٧ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَهِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَسْرِعُوا بِالْجِنَازَةِ فَإِنْ تَكُنْ صَالِحَةً فَخَيْرٌ تُقَدِّمُونَهَا إِلَيْهِ وَإِنْ تَكُنْ غَيْرَ ذَلِكَ فَشَرٌّ تَضَعُونَهُ عَنْ رِقَابِكُمْ  

nasai-kubra:2048 – Qutaybah b. Saʿīd > Sufyān > al-Zuhrī > Ibn al-Musayyab > Abū Hurayrah Yablugh Bih

The Prophet ﷺ as saying: Walk quickly with a funeral, for if the dead person was good it is a good condition to which you are sending him on, but it he was otherwise it is an evil of which you are riding yourselves. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3181)  

الكبرى للنسائي:٢٠٤٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ يَبْلُغُ بِهِ

النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «أَسْرِعُوا بِالْجِنَازَةِ فَإِنْ تَكُنْ صَالِحَةً فَخَيْرٌ تُقَدِّمُونَهَا إِلَيْهِ وَإِنْ تَكُنْ غَيْرَ ذَلِكَ فَشَرٌّ تَضَعُونَهُ عَنْ رِقَابِكُمْ»
