[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered a sermon to the people the year of the Conquest, on the steps of the Kaaba. He praised Allah and then said, "O people, every oath taken during the time of ignorance is not increased by Islam except in severity. There is no oath in Islam, nor migration after the Conquest, except the Muslims are united in their actions, their blood is equal, and no believer is killed for a disbeliever, and the compensation for killing a disbeliever is half the compensation for killing a Muslim. There is no hatred in Islam, nor impurity, nor marriage prohibition. Their charities are collected in their own lands and provided to the poorest of them among the Muslims, and the farthest is returned to the farthest. Then the revelation was sent down: And fight by the sword those who disbelieve..."  

أحمد:٧٠١٢حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ وَحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَيَّاشِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ خَطَبَ النَّاسَ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ عَلَى دَرَجَةِ الْكَعْبَةِ فَكَانَ فِيمَا قَالَ بَعْدَ أَنْ أَثْنَى عَلَى اللهِ أَنْ قَالَ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ كُلُّ حِلْفٍ كَانَ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ لَمْ يَزِدْهُ الْإِسْلَامُ إِلَّا شِدَّةً وَلَا حِلْفَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ وَلَا هِجْرَةَ بَعْدَ الْفَتْحِ يَدُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَاحِدَةٌ عَلَى مَنْ سِوَاهُمْ تَتَكَافَأُ دِمَاؤُهُمْ وَلَا يُقْتَلُ مُؤْمِنٌ بِكَافِرٍ وَدِيَةُ الْكَافِرِ كَنِصْفِ دِيَةِ الْمُسْلِمِ أَلَا وَلَا شِغَارَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ وَلَا جَنَبَ وَلَا جَلَبَ وَتُؤْخَذُ صَدَقَاتُهُمْ فِي دِيَارِهِمْ يُجِيرُ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ أَدْنَاهُمْ وَيَرُدُّ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ أَقْصَاهُمْ ثُمَّ نَزَلَ

[Machine] When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered Makkah during the year of the conquest, he stood among the people and delivered a sermon, saying: "O people, certainly in the times of ignorance, there were oaths, but Islam has only intensified them. In Islam, there are no oaths. Muslims are united against anyone other than them, their blood is equal and they protect one another. Their farthest member is protected by their support. They return their armies to their settlements. A believer cannot be killed in retaliation for an unbeliever. The blood money for an unbeliever is half that of a Muslim. There is no bringing nor banishing. Their charities are only taken within their homes."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered a sermon to the people during the year of the conquest, saying, "O people, there is no oath in the pre-Islamic era that increases in importance or value in Islam. And in Islam, there is no oath except that Muslims have the upper hand over others and strive to fulfill their promises to the best of their ability. The Muslims respond to their enemies in the farthest reaches, while their forces respond to them in their own territories. A believer should not be killed for a disbeliever, as the blood money for a disbeliever is only half the blood money for a believer. There is no consanguinity or affinity, and their charities are not to be taken except in their own dwellings. This is a saying attributed to Yunus bin Bukayr."

"يَا أيُّهَا النَّاسُ! إِنَهُ مَا كَانَ مِنْ حِلْفٍ فِى الجَاهليَّة فَإنَّ الإِسْلامَ لَمْ يزِدْهُ إِلاَّ شِدّةً، وَلا حِلفَ في الإِسْلاَمِ، وَالمُسْلمونَ يَدٌ عَلَى مَنْ سِوَاهُمْ، تَكافَأ دمَاؤُهُمْ، يُجيرُ عَلَيْهِمْ أدْنَاهُمْ، وَيرُدُّ عَلَيْهِمْ أَقْصَاهُمْ، يَرُدُّ سَرَايَاهُم عَلَى قَعدِتهِمْ (*)، لا يُقْتلُ مُؤْمِنٌ بِكَافِرٍ، دِيَةُ الكافِرِ نِصْفُ دِيَةِ المسلِم، لا خَبَبَ وَلاَ جَنبَ، وَلاَ تُؤْخَذُ صَدَقَاتُهُمْ إِلا فِى دِيَارِهِمْ".
