[Machine] When Mecca was opened to the Messenger of Allahﷺ he said, "Put down your weapons." He then mentioned something similar to the narration of Yahya and Yazid, and said in it, "Fulfill the pledges of the pre-Islamic era, for Islam has only increased it with strength. And do not make new pledges in Islam."
لَمَّا فُتِحَتْ مَكَّةُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ كُفُّوا السِّلَاحَ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ يَحْيَى وَيَزِيدَ وَقَالَ فِيهِ وَأَوْفُوا بِحِلْفِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَإِنَّ الْإِسْلَامَ لَمْ يَزِدْهُ إِلَّا شِدَّةً وَلَا تُحْدِثُوا حِلْفًا فِي الْإِسْلَامِ
