Rulings announced after the conquest of Makkah

[Machine] When Mecca was conquered by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said, "Put down your weapons, except for the men of Khuzay'ah from the Banu Bakr tribe." So he gave them permission to pray Asr, then he said, "Put down your weapons." The next day, a man from Khuzay'ah met a man from the Banu Bakr tribe in Muzdalifah and killed him. This news reached the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so he stood up as a preacher and said, "Indeed, the severest of people in enmity towards Allah are those who transgress in the sacred territory, and whoever kills someone other than a killer, or kills within the pre-Islamic rituals of ignorant times." A man then said, "O Messenger of Allah, what about my son who committed adultery with his mother during the pre-Islamic era?" He replied, "There is no retribution or punishment in Islam for past deeds of the pre-Islamic era. The child belongs to the bed and the adulteress gets stoned." It was asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what does 'adulteress gets stoned' mean?" He said, "She is punished with stoning." He also said, "In the fingers, there are ten (joints), and in the gaps between the fingers, there are five (joints). There is no prayer after dawn until the sun rises, and no prayer after Asr until the sun sets. A woman cannot be married to her aunt or her paternal aunt. A woman cannot be given away in marriage without the permission of her husband. Fulfill the oaths of the pre-Islamic era, for Islam does not increase anything except in righteousness. Do not make oaths in Islam."

لَمَّا فُتِحَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مَكَّةُ قَالَ كُفُّوا السِّلَاحَ إِلَّا خُزَاعَةَ عَنْ بَنِي بَكْرٍ فَأَذِنَ لَهُمْ حَتَّى صَلَّوْا الْعَصْرَ ثُمَّ قَالَ كُفُّوا السِّلَاحَ فَلَقِيَ مِنَ الْغَدِ رَجُلٌ مِنْ خُزَاعَةَ رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي بَكْرٍ بِالْمُزْدَلِفَةِ فَقَتَلَهُ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَامَ خَطِيبًا فَقَالَ إِنَّ أَعْدَى النَّاسِ عَلَى اللهِ مَنْ عَدَا فِيالْحَرَمِ وَمَنْ قَتَلَ غَيْرَ قَاتِلِهِ وَمَنْ قَتَلَ بِذُحُولِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ ابْنِي فُلَانًا عَاهَرْتُ بِأُمِّهِ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ؟ فَقَالَ لَا دَعْوَةَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ ذَهَبَ أَمْرُ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْأَثْلَبُ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَمَا الْأَثْلَبُ؟ قَالَ الْحَجَرُ وَفِي الْأَصَابِعِ عَشْرٌ عَشْرٌ وَفِي الْمَوَاضِحِ خَمْسٌ خَمْسٌ وَلَا صَلَاةَ بَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَشْرُقَ الشَّمْسُ وَلَا صَلَاةَ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ وَلَا تُنْكَحُ الْمَرْأَةُ عَلَى عَمَّتِهَا وَلَا عَلَى خَالَتِهَا وَلَا يَجُوزُ لِامْرَأَةٍ عَطِيَّةٌ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ زَوْجِهَا أَوْفُوا بِحِلْفِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَإِنَّ الْإِسْلَامَ لَمْ يَزِدْهُ إِلَّا شِدَّةً وَلَا تُحْدِثُوا حِلْفًا فِي الْإِسْلَامِ
