[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ saw one of his companions wearing a gold ring, so he turned away from it and threw it away. Then he took a ring made of iron and said, "This is better, as it is the adornment of the people of Hell." So he threw it away and took a ring made of silver, but he remained silent about it.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَأَى عَلَى بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ خَاتَمًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ فَأَلْقَاهُ وَاتَّخَذَ خَاتَمًا مِنْ حَدِيدٍ قَالَ فَقَالَ هَذَا أَشَرُّ هَذَا حِلْيَةُ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَأَلْقَاهُ وَاتَّخَذَ خَاتَمًا مِنْ وَرِقٍ فَسَكَتَ عَنْهُ
