[Machine] A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, permit me to fast and stand in prayer exclusively." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "The special characteristic of my Ummah (nation) is fasting and standing in prayer."  

أحمد:٦٦١٢ – حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنِي حُيَيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ائْذَنْ لِي أَنْ أَخْتَصِيَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خِصَاءُ أُمَّتِي الصِّيَامُ وَالْقِيَامُ
