The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “O ‘Ali, if you are appointed in charge after I am gone, then expel the people of Najran from the Arabian Peninsula.”  

أحمد:٦٦١ – حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَيْسٌ عَنِ الْأَشْعَثِ بْنِ سَوَّارٍ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَبِي ظَبْيَانَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَا عَلِيُّ إِنْ أَنْتَ وُلِّيتَ الْأَمْرَ بَعْدِي فَأَخْرِجْ أَهْلَ نَجْرَانَ مِنْ جَزِيرَةِ الْعَرَبِ
