ahmad:6359 – ʿAbd al-Razzāq > Ibn Jurayj

[Machine] He hears, so he does not leave his dinner and does not hurry until he finishes his dinner, then he goes out and prays. He said, and indeed he used to say, the Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not hurry away from your dinner when it is brought to you."  

أحمد:٦٣٥٩ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌأَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ أَحْيَانًا يَبْعَثُهُ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ فَيُقَدَّمُ لَهُ عَشَاؤُهُ وَقَدْ نُودِيَ صَلَاةُ الْمَغْرِبِ ثُمَّ تُقَامُ وَهُوَ

يَسْمَعُ فَلَا يَتْرُكُ عَشَاءَهُ وَلَا يَعْجَلُ حَتَّى يَقْضِيَ عَشَاءَهُ ثُمَّ يَخْرُجُ فَيُصَلِّي قَالَ وَقَدْ كَانَ يَقُولُ قَالَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تَعْجَلُوا عَنْ عَشَائِكُمْ إِذَا قُدِّمَ إِلَيْكُمْ

ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ قَوْلَهُ ﷺ «لَا تَعْجَلُوا عَنْ عَشَائِكُمْ» أَرَادَ بِهِ إِذَا قُدِّمَ ذَلِكَ عَلَى الْمَرْءِ

[Machine] He hears, so he does not leave his dinner and he does not rush until he finishes his dinner, then he goes out to pray and he says, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not rush your dinner when it is served to you."
