He forbade garments made from a blend of linen and silk, red saddle cloths and reciting Qurʿan whilst bowing.  

أحمد:٦٠١حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ حَدَّثَنِي حَجَّاجُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الشَّاعِرُ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ سَالِمٍ أَبِي جَهْضَمٍ أَنَّ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ عَلِيًّا حَدَّثَهُمْ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَانِي عَنْ ثَلَاثٍ قَالَ فَمَا أَدْرِي لَهُ خَاصَّةً أَمْ لِلنَّاسِ عَامَّةً نَهَانِي عَنِ الْقَسِّيِّ وَالْمِيثَرَةِ وَأَنْ أَقْرَأَ وَأَنَا رَاكِعٌ
