[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ prohibited the use of al-Mitharah (a kind of clothing made of animal skins), al-Qassiyah (ribbed clothing made of linen imported from Egypt), gold necklaces, and Mufdam (a type of clothing filled with feathers). Yazid said that al-Mitharah refers to animal skins, al-Qassiyah refers to ribbed clothing made of linen imported from Egypt, and Mufdam refers to clothing filled with feathers.  

أحمد:٥٧٥١حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ حَدَّثَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُهَيْلٍ أَوْ سُهَيْلُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْمِيثَرَةِ وَالْقَسِّيَّةِ وَحَلْقَةِ الذَّهَبِ وَالْمُفْدَمِ قَالَ يَزِيدُ وَالْمِيثَرَةُ جُلُودُ السِّبَاعِ وَالْقَسِّيَّةُ ثِيَابٌ مُضَلَّعَةٌ مِنْ إِبْرَيْسَمٍ يُجَاءُ بِهَا مِنْ مِصْرَ وَالْمُفْدَمُ الْمُشَبَّعُ بِالْعُصْفُرِ
