[Machine] The Messenger of Allahﷺ delayed the prayer of Isha until the people slept, the ones who perform Tahajjud stood up, and those who wake up woke up. Then he came out and the prayer was established. He said, "If it were not difficult for my nation, I would have delayed it until this time."  

أحمد:٥٦٩٢ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ فُضَيلٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

أَخَّرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَاةَ الْعِشَاءِ حَتَّى نَامَ النَّاسُ وَتَهَجَّدَ الْمُتَهَجِّدُونَ وَاسْتَيْقَظَ الْمُسْتَيْقِظُ فَخَرَجَ فَأُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ وَقَالَ لَوْلَا أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي لَأَخَّرْتُهَا إِلَى هَذَا الْوَقْتِ

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed the evening prayer until the worshippers prayed, and the awake ones stayed awake, and the sleepers fell asleep, and the night worshippers performed tahajjud prayer. Then he left and said, 'If it were not difficult for my Ummah, I would have commanded them to pray at this time or perform this prayer or something similar to it.'"  

أحمد:٤٨٢٦ – حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ فُضَيْلٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

مَسَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِصَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ حَتَّى صَلَّى الْمُصَلِّي وَاسْتَيْقَظَ الْمُسْتَيْقِظُ وَنَامَ النَّائِمُونَ وَتَهَجَّدَ الْمُتَهَجِّدُونَ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ فَقَالَ لَوْلَا أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي أَمَرْتُهُمْ أَنْ يُصَلُّوا هَذَا الْوَقْتَ أَوْ هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةَ أَوْ نَحْوَ ذَا

[Machine] The messenger of Allah ﷺ performed the night prayer (Isha) until the worshippers prayed, the awake ones stayed awake, the sleepers slept, and the ones who make night prayers prayed. Then he went out and said, "If it was not difficult for my ummah (followers), I would have commanded them to pray at this time or this prayer." Or something similar to this.  

الطبراني:١٣٤٨١ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَزِيزٍ الْمَوْصِلِيُّ ثنا غَسَّانُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ ثنا أَبُو إِسْرَائِيلَ عَنِ الْفُضَيْلِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي الْحَجَّاجِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

مَسَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِصَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ حَتَّى صَلَّى الْمُصَلِّي وَاسْتَيْقَظَ الْمُسْتَيْقِظُ وَنَامَ النَّائِمُونَ وَتَهَجَّدَ الْمُتَهَجِّدُونَ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ فَقَالَ «لَوْلَا أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي أَمَرْتُهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ هَذَا الْوَقْتَ أَوْ هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةَ» أَوْ نَحْوَ هَذَا
