ahmad:5015 – Muḥammad b. Jaʿfar And al-Ḥajjāj > Shuʿbah > Muḥārib b. Dithār > Ibn ʿUmar

[Machine] I heard Ibn Umar saying that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited the hunting of wild animals called "Dabbā"ah", "Hantam" and "Muzaffat." Shu'bah said, I heard him say this more than once. He (Hajjaj) said: and he (Ibn Umar) also said: "I am in doubt about Al-Naqeer." Hajjaj said: that Ibn Umar mentioned it in his narration multiple times.

أحمد:٥٠١٥ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَالْحَجَّاجُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُحَارِبِ بْنِ دِثَارٍ

سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْحَنْتَمِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ سَمِعْتُهُ غَيْرَ مَرَّةٍ قَالَ حَجَّاجٌ وَقَالَ أَشُكُّ فِي النَّقِيرِ قَالَ حَجَّاجٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ مَرَّاتٍ

I heard Ibn 'Umar say: Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade (the preparation of Nabidh) in a pitcher besmeared with pitch, in gourd, in varnished jar. He said, I heard it from him more than once.
