ahmad:4425 – Muḥammad b. Jaʿfar > Shuʿbah > Sulaymān > Abū Wāʾil > ʿAbdullāh

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said a word and I said another. Whoever dies while associating partners with Allah, Allah will admit him to Hell. Abdullah also said, Whoever dies without associating partners with Allah, Allah will admit him to Paradise.

أحمد:٤٤٢٥ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍعَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said a sentence and I said another. He said, "Whoever dies while he is setting up rivals along with Allah (i.e. worshipping others along with Allah) shall be admitted into the (Hell) Fire." And I said the other: "Whoever dies while he is not setting up rivals along with Allah (i.e. worshipping none except Allah) shall be admitted into Paradise."

البخاري:٦٦٨٣ – حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ عَنْ شَقِيقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ؓ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَلِمَةً وَقُلْتُ أُخْرَى مَنْ مَاتَ يَجْعَلُ لِلَّهِ نِدًّا أُدْخِلَ النَّارَ وَقُلْتُ أُخْرَى مَنْ مَاتَ لاَ يَجْعَلُ لِلَّهِ نِدًّا أُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ

ahmad:3811 – Aswad b. ʿĀmir > Abū Bakr > ʿĀṣim > Abū Wāʾil Qālaqāl ʿAbdullāh

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: "Whoever associates partners with Allah, Allah will put him in the Fire, and I say something that I did not hear from him: Whoever dies without associating partners with Allah, Allah will admit him to Paradise. Indeed, these prayers serve as an expiation for what is between them, as long as major sins are avoided."

أحمد:٣٨١١ – حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ قَالَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ جَعَلَ لِلَّهِ نِدًّا جَعَلَهُ اللهُ فِي النَّارِ وقَالَ وَأُخْرَى أَقُولُهَا لَمْ أَسْمَعْهَا مِنْهُ مَنْ مَاتَ لَا يَجْعَلُ لِلَّهِ نِدًّا أَدْخَلَهُ اللهُ الْجَنَّةَ وَإِنَّ هَذِهِ الصَّلَوَاتِ كَفَّارَاتٌ لِمَا بَيْنَهُنَّ مَا اجْتُنِبَ الْمَقْتَلُ

ahmad:4406 – Muḥammad b. Jaʿfar > Shuʿbah > Sulaymān > Abū Wāʾil > ʿAbdullāh

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "One who dies while associating partners with Allah, Allah will enter him into the Fire. And Abdullah (bin Mas'ud) said, "And I say, one who dies while not associating partners with Allah, Allah will enter him into Paradise."
