[Machine] "A command from the Commander of the Faithful did not come to me, nor did I invent. But Allah Almighty and His Messenger have commanded us to await you with our prayers while you are in need."  

أحمد:٤٢٩٨ – حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا رَبَاحٌ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ الْوَلِيدَ بْنَ عُقْبَةَ أَخَّرَ الصَّلَاةَ مَرَّةً فَقَامَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ فَثَوَّبَ بِالصَّلَاةِ فَصَلَّى بِالنَّاسِ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهِ الْوَلِيدُ مَا حَمَلَكَ عَلَى مَا صَنَعْتَ؟ أَجَاءَكَ مِنْ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَمْرٌ فِيمَا فَعَلْتَ أَمِ ابْتَدَعْتَ؟ قَالَ

لَمْ يَأْتِنِي أَمْرٌ مِنْ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلَمْ أَبْتَدِعْ وَلَكِنْ أَبَى الله ﷻ عَلَيْنَا وَرَسُولُهُ أَنْ نَنْتَظِرَكَ بِصَلَاتِنَا وَأَنْتَ فِي حَاجَتِكَ

ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ «كُلُّ ذَلِكَ لَمْ يَكُنْ وَلَمْ يَأْمُرِ اللهُ عَلَيْنَا وَرَسُولُهُ ﷺ أَنْ نَنْتَظِرَكَ بِصَلَاتِنَا وَأَنْتَ فِي حَاجَتِكَ»
