ahmad:4043 – Ibn Numayr > al-Aʿmash > Shaqīq > ʿAbdullāh

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said one thing and I said another. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever dies while associating partners with Allah will enter the Fire." And I said, "Whoever dies while not associating partners with Allah will enter Paradise." Abu Bakr agreed with me, and this is narrated by Aswad from Abu Muawiya.  

أحمد:٤٠٤٣ – حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ شَقِيقٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ كَلِمَةً وَقُلْتُ أُخْرَى سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ مَاتَ وَهُوَ يُشْرِكُ بِاللهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ النَّارَ وَقُلْتُ أَنَا مَنْ مَاتَ وَهُوَ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ وَوَافَقَهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ خِلَافَ أَبِي مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَاهُ أَسْوَدُ

bukhari:1238 – ʿUmar b. Ḥafṣ from my father > al-Aʿmash > Shaqīq > ʿAbdullāh

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Anyone who dies worshipping others along with Allah will definitely enter the Fire." I said, "Anyone who dies worshipping none along with Allah will definitely enter Paradise."  

البخاري:١٢٣٨ – حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ حَدَّثَنَا شَقِيقٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ؓ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ مَاتَ يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ النَّارَ وَقُلْتُ أَنَا مَنْ مَاتَ لاَ يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ  

muslim:92 – Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh b. Numayr > Abū And Wakīʿ > al-Aʿmash > Shaqīq > ʿAbdullāh > Wakīʿ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: He who dies associating anything with Allah would enter the Fire (of Hell). 'Abdullah b. Mas'ud said: I say that he who died without associating anything with Allah entered Paradise.  

مسلم:٩٢ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي وَوَكِيعٌ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ عَنْ شَقِيقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ وَكِيعٌ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَقَالَ ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ مَاتَ يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ النَّارَ وَقُلْتُ أَنَا وَمَنْ مَاتَ لاَ يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said one word and I said another. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever dies without associating anything with Allah will enter Paradise." I said, "And whoever dies while associating partners with Allah will enter Hellfire."

[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said one thing, and I said something else. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "Whoever dies without associating anything with Allah will enter Paradise." I said, "What about someone who dies while associating something with Allah?" The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "That person will enter Hellfire."
