Is there anything to eat? She said: Messenger of Allah, I swear by God, there is no food with us except a bone of goat which my freed maid-servant was given as sadaqa. Upon this he said: Bring that to me, for it (the sadaqa) has reached its destination.

إِنَّ جُوَيْرِيَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا فَقَالَ هَلْ مِنْ طَعَامٍ قَالَتْ لاَ وَاللَّهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا عِنْدَنَا طَعَامٌ إِلاَّ عَظْمٌ مِنْ شَاةٍ أُعْطِيَتْهُ مَوْلاَتِي مِنَ الصَّدَقَةِ فَقَالَ قَرِّبِيهِ فَقَدْ بَلَغَتْ مَحِلَّهَا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to me one day and said, "Is there any food?" I replied, "Nothing except a bone that was given to us as a gift from charity." He ﷺ said, "Bring it closer, for it has reached its place."

دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ فَقَالَ هَلْ مِنْ طَعَامٍ؟ قُلْتُ لَا إِلَّا عَظْمًا أُعْطِيَتْهُ مَوْلَاةٌ لَنَا مِنَ الصَّدَقَةِ قَالَ ﷺ فَقَرِّبِيهِ فَقَدْ بَلَغَتْ مَحِلَّهَا
