[Machine] I heard from Umm Kurz Al-Ka'abiyah, who spoke about the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ . She said, "I heard the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in Al-Hudaybiyah. I went to ask him about the meat regarding a young boy and a young girl, whether it is permissible for you to eat the male or female. He ﷺ said, 'I heard the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ saying, 'Honour the birds according to their places of residence.'"  

أحمد:٢٧١٣٩حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سِبَاعِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ

سَمِعْتُ مِنْ أُمِّ كُرْزٍ الْكَعْبِيَّةِ الَّتِي تُحَدِّثُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ بِالْحُدَيْبِيَةِ وَذَهَبْتُ أَطْلُبُ مِنَ اللَّحْمِ عَنِ الْغُلَامِ شَاتَانِ وَعَنِ الْجَارِيَةِ شَاةٌ لَا يَضُرُّكُمْ ذُكْرَانًا كُنَّ أَوْ إِنَاثًا قَالَتْ وَسَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ أَقِرُّوا الطَّيْرَ عَلَى مَكِنَاتِهَا

I heard the Prophet (nay peace be upon him) say: Let the birds stay in their roosts. She said: I also heard him say: Two sheep are to be sacrificed for a boy and one for a girl, but it does you no harm whether they are male or female.
