[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had given us a choice, and we chose him. We did not turn away from him at all. Abu Bakr said: "Abu Al-Dhuhah; this phrase has fallen out of my book."  

أحمد:٢٦٠٢٣ – حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ يَعْنِي عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

قَدْ خَيَّرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَاخْتَرْنَاهُ فَلَمْ نَعُدَّهُ طَلَاقًا قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ سَقَطَ مِنْ كِتَابِي أَبُو الضُّحَى

A’ishah said The Apostle of Allaah ﷺ gave us our choice and we chose him so that was not reckoned anything (i.e., divorce) (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2203)   

أحمد:٢٥٣٧٦ – حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُغِيرَةُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

قَدْ خَيَّرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَاخْتَرْنَاهُ فَلَمْ يَعُدَّ ذَلِكَ طَلَاقًا  

nasai-kubra:5293 – ʿAmr b. ʿAlī > ʿAbd al-Raḥman > Sufyān > Ismāʿīl / Ibn Abū Khālid > al-Shaʿbī > Masrūq > ʿĀʾishah

Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave us the option (to get divorce) and we chose him and he did not count it a divorce. (Using translation from Muslim 1477d)  

الكبرى للنسائي:٥٢٩٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

«خَيَّرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَاخْتَرْنَاهُ فَلَمْ نَعُدَّهُ طَلَاقًا»
