[Machine] Aisha, the mother of the believers, saw me washing off the traces of impurity that had stained my garment. She asked, "What is this?" I replied, "It is impurity that has stained my garment." She said, "I have seen it happen to us, and indeed it would happen to the garment of the Messenger of Allah too. But he would not say anything about it, and Muhdiyy would describe it by touching one hand to the other."  

أحمد:٢٤٧٠٢ – حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيٌّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَاصِلٌ الْأَحْدَبُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ النَّخَعِيِّ عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ

رَأَتْنِي عَائِشَةُ أُمُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَغْسِلُ أَثَرَ جَنَابَةٍ أَصَابَتْ ثَوْبِي فَقَالَتْ مَا هَذَا؟ قُلْتُ جَنَابَةٌ أَصَابَتْ ثَوْبِي فَقَالَتْ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنَا وَإِنَّهُ يُصِيبُ ثَوْبَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَمَا يَزِيدُ عَلَى أَنْ يَقُولَ بِهِ هَكَذَا وَوَصَفَهُ مَهْدِيٌّ حَكَّ يَدَهُ عَلَى الْأُخْرَى

She said, "I have seen myself and indeed, the garment of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would be stained as well, but it would not increase upon him except to say: 'So wash it off.'"  

ابن حبّان:٢٣٣٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَسْمَاءَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَاصِلٌ الْأَحْدَبُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ النَّخَعِيِّ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ

رَأَتْنِي عَائِشَةُ أَغْسِلُ أَثَرَ الْجَنَابَةِ أَصَابَ ثَوْبِي فَقَالَتْ مَا هَذَا؟ فَقُلْتُ أَثَرُ جَنَابَةٍ أَصَابَ ثَوْبِي فَقَالَتْ «لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنِي وَإِنَّهُ لَيُصِيبُ ثَوْبَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَمَا يَزِيدُ عَلَى أَنْ يَقُولَ هَكَذَا نَفْرُكُهُ»
