[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when he was presented with food, would take what Allah willed for him to take. Then, he would send the rest to Abu Ayyub, and in it would be the trace of his hand. So, when food containing garlic was brought, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not eat anything from it. He sent it to Abu Ayyub, and his family said to him, "Have him come closer to you, for I am in need of it." When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not see the trace of his hand in it, he withdrew his hand from it. He then came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Prophet of Allah, by my mother and father, have you not eaten from this food?" He said, "In it was garlic, so Jibril sought permission from me to eat it, so I ate."
