[Machine] I was wearing a Burdah garment in the Souq Al-Majaz, and I was dragging along a salty Malha. A man stabbed me with a dagger in my waist and said, "Lift up your garment, for it is longer and cleaner." So I looked, and behold, it was the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . I looked again, and behold, his garment reached the middle of his legs.  

أحمد:٢٣٠٨٦حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ عَنْ عَمَّتِهِ عَنْ عَمِّهَا قَالَ

إِنِّي لَبِسُوقِ ذِي الْمَجَازِ عَلَيَّ بُرْدَةٌ لِي مَلْحَاءُ أَسْحَبُهَا قَالَ فَطَعَنَنِي رَجُلٌ بِمِخْصَرَةٍ فَقَالَ ارْفَعْ إِزَارَكَ فَإِنَّهُ أَبْقَى وَأَنْقَى فَنَظَرْتُ فَإِذَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَنَظَرْتُ فَإِذَا إِزَارُهُ إِلَى أَنْصَافِ سَاقَيْهِ
