[Machine] The Prophet (PBUH) said, "Fruits should not be sold for other fruits, and a fruit should not be sold until its goodness is apparent." Zaid bin Thabit met Abdullah bin Umar and said, "The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) gave permission for Araya (the lower-quality dates) to be traded." Sufyan al-Araya said, "There used to be a date palm tree that was gifted to the poor, and they could not wait for it to mature, so they would sell it for whatever they wanted from its fruits."
