Abu Ayub would place his fingers where the Prophet's fingers had been and when the food was brought to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he found the smell of garlic in it so he did not eat it and sent it to Abu Ayub. Abu Ayub did not find the smell of the Prophet's fingers in it, so he said, "O Messenger of Allah, I did not find the smell of your fingers in it." He replied, "I found the smell of garlic in it." Abu Ayub said, "Shall I be sent something that you do not eat?" He said, "Indeed, it is brought to me by the angels."
