[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent a messenger to the people of a village at the distance of four parasangs or he said two parasangs, on the day of Ashura, and ordered whoever ate not to eat the rest of their day, and whoever did not eat, to complete his fast.  

أحمد:٢٠٥٨حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ أَوْ غَيْرِهِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

أَرْسَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى أَهْلِ قَرْيَةٍ عَلَى رَأْسِ أَرْبَعَةِ فَرَاسِخَ أَوْ قَالَ فَرْسَخَيْنِ يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ فَأَمَرَ مَنْ أكَلَ أَنْ لَا يَأْكُلَ بَقِيَّةَ يَوْمِهِ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَأْكُلْ أَنْ يُتِمَّ صَوْمَهُ
