Ibn 'Abbas said that a piece of red stuff was put in the grave of Messenger of Allah ﷺ. (Using translation from Muslim 967)  

أحمد:٢٠٢١ – حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ شُعْبَةَ وَابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو جَمْرَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

جُعِلَ فِي قَبْرِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَطِيفَةٌ حَمْرَاءُ
