[Machine] His brother or his uncle went to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "My neighbors have mistreated me, what should I do?" The Prophet turned away from him. He repeated, "My neighbors have mistreated me, what should I do?" The Prophet turned away from him again. Then he said, "My neighbors have mistreated me, what should I do?" Again, the Prophet turned away from him. So the man said, "If I were to say that, people would claim that Muhammad forbids wrongdoing but does it himself." The Prophet ﷺ asked, "What did he say?" Then, his brother or his nephew got up and said, "O Messenger of Allah, indeed he said that." The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Even if I were to do that, it would be upon me, and it is not for you to take it upon yourselves to intercede for him with his neighbors."
