أَنَا أَسْلَمْتُ بَعْدَ مَا أُنْزِلَتِ الْمَائِدَةُ وَأَنَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَمْسَحُ بَعْدَمَا أَسْلَمْتُ

عِيسَى بْنُ جَارِيَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ

[Machine] "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wiping over his socks." It was said to him after Surah Al-Ma'idah was revealed, and he said, "Did I not embrace Islam except after Surah Al-Ma'idah was revealed?"

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ» فَقِيلَ لَهُ بَعْدَ مَا أُنْزِلَتْ سُورَةُ الْمَائِدَةِ فَقَالَ «وَهَلْ أَسْلَمْتُ إِلَّا بَعْدَ مَا أُنْزِلَتْ سُورَةُ الْمَائِدَةِ»
