How the Prophet ﷺ placed his hands in prayer and bowing

[AI] He saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and described him, saying in it that he placed his right hand over his left. He said: Shu'bah added to it on another occasion: "Then when he was bowing, he placed his hands on his knees and held his arms apart in bowing."

أحمد:١٨٨٧٨حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ

أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ، فَذَكَرَهُ، وَقَالَ فِيهِ: وَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى الْيُسْرَى. قَالَ: وَزَادَ فِيهِ شُعْبَةُ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى: فَلَمَّا كَانَ فِي الرُّكُوعِ، وَضَعَ يَدَيْهِ عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ، وَجَافَى فِي الرُّكُوعِ.
