Raising the hands in prayer and giving salam to both sides

ahmad:18861Yazīd > Ashʿath b. Sawwār > ʿAbd al-Jabbār b. Wāʾil b. Ḥujr > Wāʾil b. Ḥujr

[AI] I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and from his face there was something for me that I would not have liked to have from the face of any man from the desert Arabs. I prayed behind him, and he would raise his hands whenever he said the takbir, and when he raised, and lowered between the two prostrations, and he would give salam to his right and to his left.
