He performed each part of the ablution three times and washed his feet times without number. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 125)   

أحمد:١٦٨٥٥ – حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ يَزِيدَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي مَالِكٍ وَأَبَا الْأَزْهَرِ يُحَدِّثَانِ عَنْ وُضُوءِ مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ

يُرِيهِمْ وُضُوءَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَتَوَضَّأَ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا وَغَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ بِغَيْرِ عَدَدٍ

[Machine] About the ablution of Muawiyah, he demonstrated to them the ablution of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and he performed ablution three times except for washing his feet a specific number of times.
