ahmad:16762 – ʿAffān And Muḥammad b. Jaʿfar > Shuʿbah > Saʿd b. Ibrāhīm > Baʿḍ Ikhwatī from my father > Jubayr b. Muṭʿim

[Machine] He came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in exchange for the captives of Badr. Ibn Ja'far said: In exchange for the polytheists and those who did not embrace Islam that day. So, I entered the mosque and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was praying Maghrib. He recited Surah At-Tur, and it seemed as if my heart was about to burst when I heard the Quran. Ibn Ja'far said: It seemed as if my heart was about to burst when I heard the Quran.  

أحمد:١٦٧٦٢ – حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ بَعْضَ إِخْوَتِي عَنْ أَبِي عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ

أَنَّهُ أَتَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فِي فِدَى بَدْرٍ قَالَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ فِي فِدَى الْمُشْرِكِينَ وَمَا أَسْلَمَ يَوْمَئِذٍ فَدَخَلْتُ الْمَسْجِدَ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي الْمَغْرِبَ فَقَرَأَ بِالطُّورِ فَكَأَنَّمَا صُدِعَ عَنْ قَلْبِي حِينَ سَمِعْتُ الْقُرْآنَ قَالَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ فَكَأَنَّمَا صُدِعَ قَلْبِي حَيْثُ سَمِعْتُ الْقُرْآنَ

[Machine] "He (referring to the Prophet ﷺ) came to the Prophet ﷺ in the Battle of Badr's ransom and said that Bahz is taking part in the ransom of the people of Badr. Ibn Ja'far said that he did not convert that day. He said: So I went to him while he was praying Maghrib and reciting Surah At-Tur. He said: It's as if my heart was pierced when I heard the Quran. Bahz mentioned this in his account, and it's as if my heart was pierced when I heard the Quran."

أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فِي فِدَى الْمُشْرِكِينَ وَقَالَ بَهْزٌ فِي فِدَى أَهْلِ بَدْرٍ وَقَالَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَمَا أَسْلَمَ يَوْمَئِذٍ قَالَ فَانْتَهَيْتُ إِلَيْهِ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي الْمَغْرِبَ وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ فِيهَا بِالطُّورِ قَالَ فَكَأَنَّمَا صُدِعَ قَلْبِي حَيْثُ سَمِعْتُ الْقُرْآنَ وَقَالَ بَهْزٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ فَكَأَنَّمَا صُدِعَ قَلْبِي حِينَ سَمِعْتُ الْقُرْآنَ

[Machine] "He came to the city during a pilgrimage, and at that time, he was a polytheist. He entered the mosque, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was praying Maghrib. He recited 'By the Mount,' and it felt as if my heart had cracked from reciting the Quran."  

الطبراني:١٥٩٥ – حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ الْقَاضِي ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ أَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنِي بَعْضُ إِخْوَتِي عَنْ أَبِي عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ
