the Prophet ﷺ borrowed thirty or forty thousand from him, when he fought at Hunain. When he came back he paid the loan, then the Prophet ﷺ said to him: 'May Allah (SWT) bless your family and your wealth for you. The reward for lending is repayment and words of paradise.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2424)   

أحمد:١٦٤١٠حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِعَنْ جَدِّهِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ اسْتَسْلَفَ مِنْهُ حِينَ غَزَا حُنَيْنًا ثَلَاثِينَ أَوْ أَرْبَعِينَ أَلْفًا فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ قَضَاهَا إِيَّاهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ بَارَكَ اللهُ لَكَ فِي أَهْلِكَ وَمَالِكَ إِنَّمَا جَزَاءُ السَّلَفِ الْوَفَاءُ وَالْحَمْدُ
