[Machine] From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, a man asked him, "Which jihad is the greatest in reward?" He replied, "The one in which the most remembrance of Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, is made." Then he asked, "Which fasting is the greatest in reward?" He replied, "The one in which the most remembrance of Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, is made." Then he mentioned to us prayer, charity, pilgrimage, and zakat, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The one in which the most remembrance of Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, is made." Abu Bakr said to Umar, "O Abu Hafs, the remembrance of good has gone with you." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed."  

أحمد:١٥٦١٤حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا زَبَّانُ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَهُ فَقَالَ أَيُّ الْجِهَادِ أَعْظَمُ أَجْرًا؟ قَالَ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لِلَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى ذِكْرًا قَالَ فَأَيُّ الصَّائِمِينَ أَعْظَمُ أَجْرًا؟ قَالَ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لِلَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى ذِكْرًا ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ لَنَا الصَّلَاةَ وَالزَّكَاةَ وَالْحَجَّ وَالصَّدَقَةَ كُلُّ ذَلِكَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺيَقُولُ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لِلَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى ذِكْرًا فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ لِعُمَرَ يَا أَبَا حَفْصٍ ذَهَبَ الذَّاكِرُونَ بِكُلِّ خَيْرٍ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَجَلْ

[Machine] Narrated by the Messenger of Allah, a man asked him, "Which of the Mujahideen is greater in reward?" He replied, "Those who remember Allah the most." He then asked, "Which of the fasting individuals is greater in reward?" He replied, "Those who remember Allah the most." Then, he mentioned prayer, Zakat, Hajj, and charity. All of these, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Those who remember Allah the most." Abu Bakr Siddiq said to Umar, "Oh Abu Hafs, the remembrance of Allah takes away all goodness." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed."
