[Machine] "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prostrating by the star and the people prostrated with him. Al-Muttalib said: 'I did not prostrate with them, and I was a pagan that day.' Al-Muttalib then said: 'So I will never abandon prostrating to it.'"

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ سَجَدَ فِي النَّجْمِ وَسَجَدَ النَّاسُ مَعَهُ قَالَ الْمُطَّلِبُ وَلَمْ أَسْجُدْ مَعَهُمْ وَهُوَ يَوْمَئِذٍ مُشْرِكٌ قَالَ الْمُطَّلِبُّ فَلَا أَدَعُ السُّجُودَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا

[Machine] "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prostrating towards the star and the people prostrating with him. Al-Muttalib said, 'I did not prostrate with them, and I was a polytheist that day.' Al-Muttalib also said, 'I will never leave prostration to it.'"

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ سَجَدَ فِي النَّجْمِ وَسَجَدَ النَّاسُ مَعَهُ قَالَ الْمُطَّلِبُ وَلَمْ أَسْجُدْ مَعَهُمْ وَهُوَ يَوْمَئِذٍ مُشْرِكٌ قَالَ الْمُطَّلِبُ وَلَا أَدَعُ السُّجُودَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا

[Machine] "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prostrating to the star. People prostrated with him. Al-Muttalib said, ‘I did not prostrate with them that day, and I was still a polytheist at that time.’ Al-Muttalib then said, ‘So I will never refrain from prostrating to it.’ Adh-Dhahabi remained silent about it in his summary."

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ «سَجَدَ فِي النَّجْمِ» قَالَ فَسَجَدَ النَّاسُ مَعَهُ قَالَ الْمُطَّلِبُ وَلَمْ أَسْجُدْ يَوْمَئِذٍ مَعَهُمْ وَهُوَ يَوْمَئِذٍ مُشْرِكٌ قَالَ الْمُطَّلِبُ فَلَا أَدَعُ أَنْ أَسْجُدَ فِيهَا أَبَدًاسكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

[Machine] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prostrating in front of the star, and the people prostrated with him. Al-Muttalib said, "I did not prostrate that day. He was a disbeliever on that day." Al-Muttalib said, "So I will never leave prostration in it (the star) ever."

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ سَجَدَ فِي النَّجْمِ وَسَجَدَ النَّاسُ مَعَهُ قَالَ الْمُطَّلِبُ وَلَمْ أَسْجُدْ هُوَ يَوْمَئِذٍ كَافِرٌ قَالَ الْمُطَّلِبُ فَلَا أَدَعُ السُّجُودَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا
