[Machine] "I went to him with my assistants. The Prophet ﷺ was sitting in Uhud when the news reached him. He called me and said, 'By the One in whose hand is my soul, they shall not be buried except with their brothers.' So he was buried with his companions in Uhud."  

أحمد:١٥٢٥٨ – حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ وَعَتَّابٌ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ الْمَدِينِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَقُولُ اسْتُشْهِدَ أَبِي بِأُحُدٍ فَأَرْسَلَنِي أَخَوَاتِي إِلَيْهِ بِنَاضِحٍ لَهُنَّ فَقُلْنَ اذْهَبْ فَاحْتَمِلْ أَبَاكَ عَلَى هَذَا الْجَمَلِ فَادْفِنْهُ فِي مَقْبَرَةِ بَنِي سَلِمَةَ قَالَ

فَجِئْتُهُ وَأَعْوَانٌ لِي فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ بِأُحُدٍ فَدَعَانِي فَقَالَ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَا يُدْفَنُ إِلَّا مَعَ إِخْوَتِهِ فَدُفِنَ مَعَ أَصْحَابِهِ بِأُحُدٍ
