ahmad:1410 – Yazīd b. Hārūn > Sulaymān / al-Taymī > Abū ʿUthmān > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿĀmir > al-Zubayr b. al-ʿAwwām > a man Ḥamal > Faras Yuqāl Lahā Ghamrah or Ghamrāʾ

It was narrated from az-Zubair bin al-ʿAwwam that a man gave a mare called Ghamrah or Ghamraʿ [for jihad], then he found a horse or a colt for sale which was said to be from that mare, but he was told not to buy it.

أحمد:١٤١٠ – حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ يَعْنِي التَّيْمِيَّ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ عَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ أَنَّ رَجُلًا حَمَلَ عَلَى فَرَسٍ يُقَالُ لَهَا غَمْرَةُ أَوْ غَمْرَاءُ

وَقَالَ فَوَجَدَ فَرَسًا أَوْ مُهْرًا يُبَاعُ فَنُسِبَتِ إلَى تِلْكَ الْفَرَسِ فَنُهِيَ عَنْهَا
