[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Befriend the Ansar (helpers of Medina) as they are good people, or he said, "Be kind to them." Accept their good deeds and overlook their faults. Upon hearing this, Mus'ab ibn Umair resorted himself from his bedding and pressed his cheek to the ground and said, "The command of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is as precious to me as my head and eyes."  

أحمد:١٣٥٢٨حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ قَالَ بَلَغَ مُصْعَبَ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَرِيفِ الْأَنْصَارِ شَيْءٌ فَهَمَّ بِهِ فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ اسْتَوْصُوا بِالْأَنْصَارِ خَيْرًا أَوْ قَالَ مَعْرُوفًا اقْبَلُوا مِنْ مُحْسِنِهِمْ وَتَجَاوَزُوا عَنْ مُسِيئِهِمْ فَأَلْقَى مُصْعَبٌ نَفْسَهُ عَنْ سَرِيرِهِ وَأَلْزَقَ خَدَّهُ بِالْبِسَاطِ وَقَالَ أَمْرُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى الرَّأْسِ وَالْعَيْنِ فَتَرَكَهُ
