[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I have been given Al-Kawthar, and indeed, it is a river that flows like this on the face of the earth. Its banks are domes of pearls that are not cracked. I struck its soil with my hand, and behold, it was a handful of musk, and its pebbles are pearls."  

أحمد:١٢٥٤٢حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أُعْطِيتُ الْكَوْثَرَ فَإِذَا هُوَ نَهَرٌ يَجْرِي كَذَا عَلَى وَجْهِ الْأَرْضِ حَافَّتَاهُ قِبَابُ اللُّؤْلُؤِ لَيْسَ مَشقُوقًا فَضَرَبْتُ بِيَدِي إِلَى تُرْبَتِهِ فَإِذَا مِسْكَةٌ ذَفِرَةٌ وَإِذَا حَصَاهُ اللُّؤْلُؤُ

[Machine] "He (the Prophet) recited this verse: 'Indeed, We have granted you, [O Muhammad], al-Kawthar.' He then said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "I have been given al-Kawthar, a river flowing and never drying up. It has banks of pearls, and I struck its bottom with my hand, and there emerged a handful of musk and pearls."

أَنَّهُ قَرَأَ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ {إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ} [الكوثر 1] قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أُعْطِيتُ الْكَوْثَرَ فَإِذَا هُوَ نَهَرٌ يَجْرِي وَلَمْ يُشَقَّ شَقًّا فَإِذَا حَافَتَاهُ قِبَابُ اللُّؤْلُؤِ فَضَرَبْتُ بِيَدِي إِلَى تُرْبَتِهِ فَإِذَا مِسْكَةٌ ذَفِرَةٌ وَإِذَا حَصَاهُ اللُّؤْلُؤُ  

ذِكْرُ الْإِخْبَارِ عَنْ وَصْفِ الْكَوْثَرِ الَّذِي أَعْطَاهُ اللَّهُ جَلَّ وَعَلَا نَبِيَّهُ ﷺ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Al-Kawthar is a river in Paradise that runs on the surface of the earth. Its banks are made of pearls." He ﷺ said, "I struck it with my hands and found its clay to be musk, and its pebbles to be pearls."  

ابن حبّان:٦٤٧١أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ قَرَأَ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ {إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ} قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الْكَوْثَرُ نَهَرٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ يَجْرِي عَلَى وَجْهِ الْأَرْضِ حَافَّتَاهُ قِبَابُ الدُّرِّ» قَالَ ﷺ «فَضَرَبْتُ بِيَدِي فَإِذَا طِينُهُ مِسْكٌ أَذْفَرُ وَإِذَا حَصْبَاؤُهُ اللُّؤْلُؤُ»
